Companies wishing to promote Health & Safety principals amongst staff or enhance team bonding can now take advantage of a course specifically developed to do so. The course, based at British Airways' training facility, Heathrow airport, lasts half a day and caters for between 20 and 30 persons.
A typical course structure includes:
Tea and coffee on arrival in a private function room.
Course introduction.
Simulated flight on a full motion Boeing 737 cabin simulator, leading to an emergency landing and full aircraft evacuation from a smoke-filled environment.
Full exercise debrief on the simulator with safety advice and techniques for the following emergency situations:

Practical door and overwing exit operation on a Boeing 737.

Emergency evacuation slide descents from an Airbus A320.

The course costs £180 per person (vat 0% rateable) based on a minimum of 20 people with a maximum of 30 per course. Courses can be booked for either morning or afternoon and lunch can also be supplied at £20 per person.
